The Bears recorded 11 hits in the game, scoring a whopping 14 runs to match their season high.
The hits came by the bunch and early. Missouri State marched to a commanding 8-1 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning when they scored six runs off of five hits.
It all started with a first baseman Ben Whetstone solo home run to right field. The sophomore reached base safely in all but one at bat in this series.
