It’s way too early to plan a parade or buy party balloons, but Missouri State is off a 3-0 start a week into the Dana Ford coaching era after Sunday’s rather methodical 83-70 victory over Stetson.

The competition level will ramp up soon enough, with Nebraska the opponent next Monday in the Hall of Fame Classic semifinals at Sprint Center in Kansas City.

“We are very excited by the opportunity to practice over the next eight days,” Ford said after the third home-court win.
