Missouri State’s baseball team isn’t going down without a fight.

The Bears shrugged off an early 4-0 deficit in Friday afternoon’s elimination game at the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, scoring 11 unanswered runs to send host Indiana State packing in an 11-4 victory.

Missouri State will play Bradley in a scheduled 6:30 p.m. game Friday, with the loser eliminated.

Missouri State (36-20) cruised to a 12-4 victory over Indiana State in Wednesday’s opening round, then dropped a 10-0 decision to Bradley late Thursday night in the double-elimination Bracket B.

It appeared the late night continued to take its toll on the Bears early on Friday, as Indiana State scored two in the first inning and two more in the second off starter Austin Knight.
