Bears season ends with 61-58 loss to Bradley

The season is over for Missouri State men’s basketball team after a 61-58 loss to the Bradley Braves, who were ranked fifth in the tournament.

“(Bradley) played a complete game,” head coach Dana Ford said. “Ultimately, I thought that they were way more physical than us, and it kind of wore on us as the game went along. Our guys kept doing what they’ve been doing all year — fighting to the end.

“I’m very proud of our players.”

The Bears controlled the first half even when they weren’t scoring. They held the Braves to 2-9 from the 3-point line.
