The Missouri State men’s basketball team left Tuesday morning for what could be the trip of a lifetime.
The Bears will spend the better part of a week in the Bahamas, playing three international goodwill games, touring the island and providing community service work.
There also should be plenty of time to relax on the beach and swim in the Atlantic Ocean.
Just not for senior guard Dequon Miller.
“I’m not messing with the water, man, there’s too many great whites out there,” Miller said Monday. “I’m not fooling with that. I don’t really fool with that swimming stuff.
