Missouri State found out Sunday evening it will not be hosting an NCAA Tournament baseball regional.
But the Bears are confident they'll be playing somewhere this weekend.
Missouri State lost to Illinois State 7-2 on Sunday in the Missouri Valley Conference Championship.
Dallas Baptist went on to defeat Illinois State in the title game to earn the Valley's lone automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, but Missouri State's players and coaches feel like they have done enough to earn an at-large bid.
"I think we're in," senior first baseman Justin Paulsen said.
