Bears in rare air after victory at Murray State

MURRAY, Ky. – The Missouri State Bears didn’t know what last week’s win over NAIA Southwestern College meant about their team.

They may have a better idea now.

Missouri State won its second consecutive game, starting with a bang and shackling nationally recognized Murray State quarterback KD Humphries in a 28-22 victory over the Racers.

Murray State had its chances in the second half, scoring on the second Humphries-to-Jordon Ramsey TD pass late in the third quarter to cut the Missouri State lead to 21-19.

But the Racers fumbled while going for a two-point conversion that would have tied the score.
