Missouri State's road uniforms will get plenty of use in the first two months of the 2017 football season.
The school released its schedule on Wednesday, highlighted by a visit to Columbia in the season opener on Sept. 2. The schedule includes five home games, but four of the first six are away from home.
The Bears and Tigers will meet for the first time since 1923, when Mizzou claimed a 10-0 victory. That’s the only time the schools have met on the football field.
“This is an exciting time for our program, our university and our alumni to have the opportunity to travel up north for the first time in a long time,” Bears coach Dave Steckel said in a release.
