In the history of the Missouri Valley Conference and Mountain West basketball showdown, the Missouri State Bears had won just one game. And in the small sample size that is the 2017-18 season, the Bears had not won the games fans wanted them to.
That changed on Tuesday night, as the Bears (6-2) ran away from the Colorado State Rams (3-4), winning 77-67.
Missouri State did so without star player, senior Alize Johnson, scoring in the first half or in the entire game.
