The Missouri State men’s basketball inked three recruits Wednesday to add to an already strong 2018 recruiting class.

The Bears signed former No. 1 player in Missouri Jared Ridder in September, after he decided to leave Xavier University. Ridder received a scholarship offer from Missouri State but opted to leave Missouri.

The 6’7 forward will redshirt during the 2017-18 season, and so, head coach Paul Lusk treats him as a member of the 2018 recruiting class.

“We feel good about the guys that have committed,” Lusk said prior to the official announcement Wednesday. “I will tell you this, the one recruit we can talk about is Jared Ridder because we look at him as a part of that class, who is a redshirt.
