The reigning titleholders in the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions will meet some local boys when they return to Springfield.
Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Virginia) enters the prestigious high school boys basketball tournament at JQH Arena 20-1, and will play Bolivar to open the 2016 Tournament of Champions on Thursday, Jan. 14. The Tournament of Champions opening round pairings were unveiled Tuesday morning at the White River Conference Center.
Oak Hill made its Tournament of Champions debut in 2015 and went 3-0 to win the title. The Warriors are the No. 5-ranked team in the USA Today Super 25 Expert national rankings.
