As frustration builds, Missouri State basketball set to host No. 12 BYU

Frustration around the Missouri State men's basketball program might have hit its highest level in Dana Ford's four years following the Bears' disappointing overtime loss to Illinois State on Wednesday night.

Now the Bears are going to have to turn around and host the highest-ranked non-league team that's ever come through Springfield to begin a challenging stretch of games.

Missouri State (4-3. 0-1) will host No. 12 BYU at 3 p.m. on Saturday at JQH Arena.

On Wednesday, the Bears, picked to finish fourth in the Missouri Valley Conference before the season, couldn't put away an Illinois State program that was picked to finish last.
