One of the greatest high school basketball players to ever come through southwest Missouri has picked his college destination.
Greenwood phenom Aminu Mohammed will attend Georgetown he announced Monday evening in front of a crowd in the new Betty and Bobby Allison Event Center on the campus of Greenwood Laboratory School.
Mohammed is rated as a five-star prospect by all major recruiting websites, including ESPN and Rivals. He's been considered a Top 20 player in the Class of 2021 throughout his high school career.
Mohammed entered the 2020-21 season with 2,102 points in his first two years at Greenwood.
