Starting quarterback Breck Ruddick runs away from defenders early in Missouri State's 57-0 win.
There were positives and some negatives (mostly positives. They won 57-0) all over the field on Thursday night for the Bears. Here’s what I saw after watching the game for a second time:
• Twelve seconds is all it took for Deion Holliman to put last season behind the Bears, but Holliman continues to be the threat he proved to be last season. Holliman’s 91-yard touchdown return on the opening kick showed why he was selected to last season’s All-MVFC team and why he was selected to make a repeat performance by making the preseason team.
