It finally happened. I made mistakes on a trail that I'm still kicking myself for. But, I shouldn't get ahead of myself.
Recently I wrote about Missouri Department of Conservation's shooting range in Pleasant Hope being closed, and I needed photos for my story. I told my editors I would also check out the Pleasant Hope Conservation Area while I was there for my hiking series.
