Mississippi State basketball player Johnny Zuppardo was arrested Sunday night for driving with a suspended license.
The 6-foot-9 forward from Bay St. Louis was pulled over for running a red light on campus at 8:17 p.m. His license had been suspended for illegally fishing in Hattiesburg according to Michael Bonner of the Clarion Ledger.
Zuppardo signed with the Bulldogs last spring but missed the entire season after tearing his ACL and meniscus in his left knee. He had previous stints at Arkansas State, Southern Miss and Jones County Junior College.
MSU coach Ben Howland stated Saturday that Zuppardo is considered a senior unless the NCAA grants him another year of eligibility.
