Mississippi State Bulldogs wing Xavian Stapleton has been arrested for driving with a suspended license. Rob Dauster of NBC Sports’ College Basketball Talk reported the arrest, which was originally broken by the Clarion Ledger.
Stapleton becomes the second player to be arrested since former UCLA head coach Ben Howand was hired to come coach in Starkville, as big man Johnny Zuppardo was arrested for driving with a suspended license after being pulled over for running a red light.
In Stapleton’s case, he was pulled over for going 38 mph in a 20 mph zone and was arrested once it was discovered his license was suspended.
