What does former Bulldog Montez Sweat bring to the Washington Football Team’s defensive line?

A member of arguably the NFL’s best defensive line, Montez Sweat is due to impose his will and become a household name in the nation’s capitol.

Sweat is built for the modern game, in large part due to his rare speed and quick first step. At 6-foot-6, 262 pounds Sweat accumulated 44 total tackles along with nine sacks in 2020. Opposite superstar Chase Young, he excels at setting the edge. Further, Sweat forces backs east west rather than allowing downhill runs.

Like Young, Sweat is a student of the game with leadership. He is a tone setter on and off the field.
