West Harrison girls basketball star Ameshya Williams is on her first official visit to Mississippi State this weekend.
The 6-foot-2 Williams had a huge junior season at West Harrison, averaging 22.4 points and 12.2 rebounds for the Lady Hurricanes.
Her performance so far has earned scholarship offers from Southern Miss, LSU and MSU. LSU was the first school to offer her back in the summer.
West Harrison coach Otis Gates said that MSU and Southern Miss are aggressively recruiting Williams.
Gates said she has no favorite school at the moment.
