Things haven’t gone well for the Mississippi State baseball team so far in the Tallahassee Regional. The Bulldogs fell behind early after a rough first inning. After Oklahoma claimed a 4-0 lead in the 1st inning, they then extended their lead to 5-0 in the second inning.
That’s forcing the Mississippi State baseball team to try and mount a comeback right here. With how the Oklahoma Sooners have been playing, that won’t be easy. Especially when Oklahoma’s Jake Irvin dominating on the mound.
But that won’t stop Mississippi State from trying.
In the bottom of the 2nd inning with one out, sophomore center Dustin Skelton stepped up to the plate.
