The champion of the Southeastern Conference is once again from the Western division. Alabama beat Florida 29-15 to mark the seventh straight year the West has won the league title.
General thought among the national media is the SEC is having a down year. After as many as 10 teams were ranked early in the year, only four have been over the last few weeks. And if the whole league is down, the dominating West must be down too, right?
I’m not so sure about that.
For the second straight year, every SEC West team will go bowling.
