Mississippi State’s Victoria Vivians was one of 20 players from around the country to be selected for the Wooden Award midseason watch list.
The Wooden Award is presented annually to the top women’s college basketball player.
Vivians currently leads the Southeastern Conference at 18 points per game and has scored in double figures in 17 straight games.
“I appreciate the Wooden Award committee for selecting me to the midseason watch list alongside some outstanding players,” Vivians said. “There’s still a lot of basketball left this season, so I have to continue working hard so I can help our team reach our goal of competing for a championship.
