Mississippi State’s Victoria Vivians was bestowed another honor on Wednesday as she was selected to the WBCA All-Region 2 team.
The sophomore guard from Carthage was also a first team All-SEC selection after scoring 17.4 points per game, which ranks second in the conference.
Through two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, Vivians is averaging 21.5 points per game. She has scored 610 points this year becoming the first Bulldog to do so since former All-American and Tupelo standout Tan White in 2005 to eclipse 600 points in a season.
Vivians has scored in double figures 31 times this season including 13 with 20-plus point and two 30-point performances.
