Mississippi State has settled in for several months of offseason conditioning and preparation for fall camp.
The Bulldogs open the 2016 season against South Alabama on September 3, and lots of questions remain unanswered. Still, there are three big positives to take away from spring practice, which should put some fans’ minds at ease.

1. Mississippi State will have one of the best group of safeties in the SEC. Back-end play on a defense is über important, especially in this era of the spread offense.
