Three Quick Thoughts From First Half of Mississippi State Football Spring Game

Mississippi State football is in the middle of its spring game.

Literally.

As I’m writing this, the annual Maroon and White game has gone to halftime. At the moment, the Maroon team leads the White team by a margin of 21-7. The Bulldogs have made several big plays against, well, the Bulldogs.

The defense looks good, but the offense has made a few more notable plays. In the spring game, that shouldn’t be much of a surprise for anyone. We’ve seen Keytaon Thompson, along with a few other notable players, spend time playing for both teams.
