The Dallas Cowboys are ready for Dak to officially become the face of the franchise.

Wow. The day that has been speculated about for months has come.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Dallas Cowboys are officially moving on from the face of the franchise for the past decade, Tony Romo, and handing over the keys to Mississippi State legend Dak Prescott:

Let the Romo recruiting in Houston and Denver begin.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 8, 2017

Tony Romo has been the face of the Dallas Cowboys for the past decade. Romo has often been criticized for losing playoff games, throwing too many interceptions, and being injury prone, but for the past eleven years, Romo was who you thought of when you heard “Dallas Cowboys”.
