“Strain”. Dan Mullen continues to use it in post game interviews, press conferences and in this video he’s seen discussing “strain” with the players in the locker room. The word has seeped into the vernacular of the players as they talk about practicing and playing with “strain”. It’s a very strange word to use when discussing football, one I don’t believe I’ve ever heard another coach use – Dan Mullen is an original.
