Stricklin named Athletic Director of the Year

Mississippi State’s Scott Stricklin was selected as the Under Armor Athletics Director of the Year Award from the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.

Stricklin is the first MSU AD to receive the honor and one of only five from the Southeastern Conference in the award’s history.

“Mississippi State is an incredibly fun place to be because there are so many talented people who are passionate about this university and refuse to let our challenges prevent us from achieving greatness,” Stricklin said.

Since he became the Bulldogs’ director of atheltics in 2010, Stricklin has overseen expansion projects for the baseketball, football, softball, tennis and golf facilities and is currently working towards remodeling Dudy Noble Field for baseball.
