* New UCF coach Scott Frost is making an early impact. Frost and UCF received a trio of pledges over the weekend, from RBs Jaquarius Bargnare of Orlando Dr. Phillips and Adrian Killins of Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland and ATH Brandon Moore of Sanford (Fla.) Seminole. Frost also has made an impression on Jacksonville Trinity Christian RB Jalin Buie, a former Auburn commitment who now is leaning toward UCF. Buie is an elusive running back perfect for Frost’s version of the spread.
* Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic RB Kareem Walker is the nation’s top-ranked running back and says he is down to five schools.
