Arkansas' Kenzo Cotton placed first in the 100 meters at the Arkansas Spring Invitational and was on the winning 4x100 meter relay team and the 4x400 meter relay team. He won the 100 meters in an NCAA-leading time of 10.12. The time in the 4-x-100 Meter relay (39.31) was also a meet record.

Texas A&M's Ilolo Izu won the 400m hurdles in 50.42 at the UTSA Roadrunner Invitational, currently the third fastest time by an American this outdoor season and the leading time among Division I collegians.
