Georgia: Sony Michel ran for 149 yards and a TD on 24 carries to lift Georgia (9-3) to a 13-7 win at Georgia Tech. His TD came on a 34-yard run that capped Georgia’s first possession of the day. Georgia’s defense basically controlled the contest from there. Georgia led 13-0 before Tech scored on a TD pass with 3:24 left in the game. Georgia’s focus now turns to whether coach Mark Richt will be back next season; speculation continues to swirl that he could be replaced. Michel’s performance was his fourth 100-yard game of the season, and he finishes the regular season with 1,076 rushing yards.
