Texas A&M has already played one team from the state of South Carolina this season as they hosted and came close to defeating the Clemson Tigers. Now, this weekend, the Aggies will face an SEC football team from the same state, the South Carolina Gamecocks.
The Gamecocks haven’t exactly been as good as some expected while the Aggies have been better than some, including myself, thought they would be during year one of the Jimbo Fisher era. Currently, South Carolina is sitting at 3-2 this season and is 2-2 in SEC play. Texas A&M, on the other hand, is one win better at 4-2 and is 2-1 against conference opponents.
