Dak Prescott is now the standard at Mississippi State for anyone who plays quarterback. Whether that’s fair, Nick Fitzgerald will be compared to Prescott, the Dallas Cowboys’ starter and the guy he replaced at MSU.
Patrick Woo, the scouting coordinator for the Reese’s Senior Bowl, doesn’t believe the comparisons between the two hold up.
Woo had an up-close look at Fitzgerald at the Manning Passing Academy in late June, where Fitzgerald was able to work with Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and other standout quarterbacks in college football.
“To me, they are kind of two different players,” Woo said.
