The Mississippi State Bulldogs haven’t been viewed as a basketball school in quite some time, but head coach Ben Howland is looking to change that perception. He comes from the UCLA Bruins after spending a long time there as the head coach and has been doing an excellent job of recruiting talent for the Bulldogs.
Schnider Herard is a four-star center that was very highly recruited, but has reportedly decided to commit to Mississippi State.
Adding big men is the first step for a rebuilding program and Herard is a very physically intimidating presence.
