The radio broadcasts for the 2019 Mississippi State baseball season are about to get a bit more interesting as Ross Mitchell is making his way into the booth to join Jim Ellis. That’s right, the former pitcher (and rapper) for the Mississippi State Bulldogs will be getting into the broadcasting business.
Mississippi State announced its broadcasting teams yesterday and Mitchell’s name was one that stuck out to many.

Jim Ellis, “Voice of the Diamond Dawgs,” begins his 41st season on the network and will broadcast from the new “Jim Ellis Broadcast Suite.
