One of the best defensive backs in the SEC is reportedly for the season.
Although Mississippi State has yet to confirm it, but according to Tyler Thompson of KSR radio, cornerback Will Redmond has been diagnosed with a torn ACL. He reportedly suffered the injury during practice this week.
If the reports are correct, Redmond would miss the remainder of the season. This would make him the second starter of MSU’s secondary to lose playing time due to an a torn ACL, as safety Kendrick Market suffered the same injury earlier this month in their loss to Texas A&M.
