One of the most memorable games from the season came on Mother’s Day. The Bulldogs had accumulated some momentum heading into the series with Ole Miss. After getting off to a 3-6 start in SEC play, the Bulldogs had rallied to win 10 of their next 15 games.
But the series against Ole Miss got off to a terrible start. The Friday night game was rained out, and Ole Miss took the first two games of the series in a double header.
