Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott is one of 30 student-athletes selected as a candidate for the Senior CLASS Award, presented annually to annually to an FBS senior with notable achievements excelling in character and competition as well as in the community and classroom.
Prescott is one of five players from the Southeastern Conference up for the award joining Auburn defensive back Jonathan Jones, LSU punter Jamie Keehn, Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland and Vanderbilt tight end Steven Scheu.
Prescott is the first Bulldog football player selected as a candidate since Johnthan Banks was a finalist in 2012.
