Prescott Has a Mediocre Game but is Still SEC’s Best

Saturday night vs. Southern Miss wasn’t the best game Dak Prescott has ever played, but there’s one thing about it, even when the Heisman contender has an off game while running with a half open playbook. He was still good enough to finish the weekend as the SEC’s leader in total yardage. He also had two passing touchdowns, a rushing touchdown and he also took care of the ball with no turnovers.

His numbers could have been way better than they ended up, but we saw at least three drops on the night. Prescott was off on several throws as well, but it was also obvious that Prescott was told not to run the ball in the first half and as bad as I hate when Coach Mullen does that, it was probably in the best interest of the team.
