Former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott was arrested and charged with driving under the influence early Saturday morning according to Starkville Police Chief Frank Nichols.

The news was first reported by the Clarion-Ledger.

Nichols confirmed that Prescott’s arrest occurred near Starkville’s Cotton District.

Prescott was at Starkville High School later on Saturday hosting a football camp.

Prescott just recently wrapped up the most decorated career of any player in MSU history. The signal caller from Haughton, Louisiana was a two-time All-American and two-time All-Southeastern Conference quarterback for the Bulldogs during his Mississippi State tenure.
