Prescott a finalist for Unitas Golden Arm Award

Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott has been selected as one of five finalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award for the second straight season.

The award is presented annually to the top quarterback in college football. To be considered for the honor, a signal caller must be at least a fourth-year junior and aside from their accomplishments on the field they are also judged on character, leadership and success in the classroom.

This season the 6-foot-2, 230-pound senior from Haughton, La., has completed 173 of 260 passes for 2,048 yards, 14 touchdowns and one interception while also adding 371 yards and seven more scores on 72 carries.
