Texas offensive tackle Brandon Hodges, who started nine games last season, announced via Twitter on Tuesday that he is seeking a graduate transfer, barely two months before the start of the 2017 season.

No reason was given for the move. But the Dallas Morning News reported in March that Hodges (6 feet 5, 310 pounds) sat out part of the Longhorns’ spring practice for academic reasons.
No timetable listed for a return for any of the three Texas players.
