Mississippi St. Bulldogs fans have been clamoring for a change in the "Holloway up the middle" scheme which had been so prevalent in the first two games of the season. It appeared early on that Dan Mullen was going to be stuck in his ways and continue to plow along that same path.
But then in the second half, Ashton Shumpert began to get a few more carries than what we are accustomed to. And he was doing really well with those carries. For the game, Holloway had 5 carries for 15 yards and Ashton Shumpert had 6 for 34 yards.
