No. 7 Mississippi State extended its home winning streak to 14 games dating back to last season as it defeated Auburn 60-45 Thursday night.
The Bulldogs improved to 15-1 on the year and 2-0 in conference play and now own a 26-1 record at Humphrey Coliseum over the last two seasons.
“Sometimes we don’t practice well and sometimes we don’t shoot around well,” said MSU coach Vic Schaefer. “But when the lights come on with these kids, they really hook up and play. I’m really proud of our effort. We beat an outstanding team today.
