Though the Bulldogs were tested, they came out with a win in large part due to Jessika Carter’s dominant performance.
Carter had her way with a double-double that included 29 points and 15 boards. She was a force in the paint all game and Central Arkansas had no answer. She made the most of her height advantage, having imposed her will throughout. As she was the only Bulldog in double figures, Carter made it a priority to step up as both a scorer and leader.
While it was not the team’s best all-around offensive performance, the Bulldogs shined defensively.
