BILOXI, Miss. — The No. 13 Bulldogs secured a two-game sweep over the No. 2 Texas Tech Red Raiders with a 3-2 win Wednesday night at MGM Park.
MSU (12-4) came away with a huge mini sweep of a red-hot Red Raiders team that had won 12 straight coming into the midweek series. Texas Tech now falls to 16-3.
In the bottom of the third inning, junior Rowdey Jordan led off with a double down the right field line. Junior Jordan Westburg followed with a single through the left side to put runners on the corners before an RBI groundout scored Jordan to give MSU a 1-0 lead.
