The Mississippi State football program is getting some decent respect going into the upcoming 2018 season. Earlier today, ESPN rated the 50 best college football players going into the 2018 college football season.
As MSU’s official football twitter account has noted, three different Mississippi State Bulldogs earned their way onto the list this year.
Montez Sweat entered the list at the 45th spot going into this season. Sweat is known as a dynamic pass rusher and is great at causing mayhem in opposing backfields. Alongside Jeffery Simmons and Gerri Green, Sweat was able to lead the Bulldogs in sacks and tackles for loss last season.
