Late last week, Mississippi State head football coach Dan Mullen appeared on the Paul Finebaum show, discussing his football team and as Chris Vannini with CoachingSearch.com reports, Mullen proclaimed his team would indeed win a championship in Starkville. You can read Vannini’s writeup here.
Mullen has never been bashful about what he intends to do in Starkville, dating back to 2009 when he proclaimed after the Egg Bowl, “There’s only one team in this state.”
Mullen will take the stage this week at SEC Media Days and I am sure he will be asked about last years success and what he thinks about this year.
