Chris Marve is indeed leaving the Mississippi State football program.
MSU head coach Joe Moorhead met with local media on Friday night and confirmed Marve is leaving the Bulldogs after just one season to join the coaching staff at Florida State.
“We wish him the best of luck,” Moorhead said of Marve. “Just like there’s no coach or player bigger than the program, we have a next-man-in philosophy for our players and the same goes for coaches. We want people who want to be here. This is not a stepping stone.
