OMAHA, Neb. – Rain wouldn’t go away, so Mississippi State and Vanderbilt has to wait to play.
The College World Series winner’s bracket meeting between the Bulldogs and Commodores – originally scheduled for Tuesday night – was moved to Wednesday due to rain in Omaha.
Game time for Wednesday is a bit up in the air. Louisville and Auburn were in the top of the fifth inning in Tuesday’s first game when the contest was put in a rain delay. If that game finishes on Tuesday night, MSU and Vanderbilt will play at 1 p.
